Los Angeles Crews Cool Compressed Gas Cylinders as Truck Burns
Feb. 26, 2025
Los Angeles firefighters had their work cut out for them Wednesday when a trash truck with compressed gas cylinders caught fire.
From a distance, firefighters trained a stream to keep the compressed natural gas cylinders cool, KTLA reported.
They evacuated nearby buildings as a precaution. Once the tanks were completely empty, firefighters proceeded to fully extinguish the flames in the body and cab of the truck.
